I knew Dartmouth was perfect for me from the moment I saw the campus. I felt at home in Hanover and found the college attracted lots of people like me--outdoorsy, laid back, and academic. Engineering at Dartmouth was a perfect fit because it allowed students to gain a liberal arts education in addition to the hard-skills of engineering. The Thayer School produces well-rounded engineers with excellent communication skills who often go on to work in fields much broader than just engineering. It's an education in problem solving more than anything else. I majored in engineering, minored in earth science, and stayed to earn B.E. and M.E.M. degrees at Thayer. You can view some of my college projects as well as my course list on this page.
